This is the day...

the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it.

The sun just came out & is peeking through the trees so beautifully, the birds are squawking overhead, Jackson & Lauren have been playing dr. all morning & sweet little E is enjoying spending some time with her Sesame Street buddies this morning. And I can't help but be thankful for this day the Lord has blessed us with.

October has been filled with good stuff:

I got 36 hours to myself (white washing the fireplace) while the kids visited Grandma & Grandpa T & Curt was in Vegas

they got to pop in and visit Uncle Brian at work

we took a weekend trip to Iowa to harvest & get mommy's fill of home - there is something special about fall in Iowa that I just love - the kiddos and Curtis love it too

Revel Bars & dirt - this girl is loving life!

we of course had to pop in and get a tour of the newest hog building - Jackson did good (he has a slight fear of pigs... when I say 'slight' I actually mean 'severe' but it's getting much better!)

and we were so lucky to have Aunt Janet around to visit too!

Curt & I got to sneak away for a night to celebrate Aaron & Laura's wedding in Bayfield, WI (thank you Grandma & Grandpa T for watching the kiddos)

we enjoyed the fall colors on the way up... and enjoyed the first snow fall on the way home!

we did lots of cleaning last week at our Richfield house between tenants - these two were great helpers (insert sarcasm...)

we said goodbye to some dear friends the Marolt's who were swept away to the beautiful city of Seattle.

This little girl has a wonderful virus called - hand, foot, mouth - sounds awful and gross... and it kind of is - luckily her face didn't get attacked by sores, she's on the mend & happy as long as she has her baby dolls & her 'shows' (Elaina's favorite line is 'I want to watch a show' - though Curt & I may be the only ones that can interpret that)

We had a very exciting afternoon yesterday watching a shed get moved - lots of entertainment out here in 'the sticks' :)

Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful day too!
