Happy Friday (a day early!)

This week this little girl is enjoying sitting in her jumper!

and is starting to give out smiles more easily!

her littleness still amazes me

and I like to steal as many quiet little 'snuggle' moments as I can. 

this little girl is teaching me what people mean when they say their child is 'spirited' - I think she's 'spirited'!

and she loves nuts. This little girl would eat nuts and pickles for breakfast, lunch & dinner if we let her. 

 Looks like the girls stole the show this week - sorry Jackson! Jack has been busy with preschool & taking care of his sisters. He can hardly contain his excitement to go down and visit Grandma & Grandpa in Iowa this week, then he gets to go fishing with daddy and papa George next weekend when we get home. We just started packing today and the kid is flying high with excitement!

Happy Friday (a day late...)

This week this little girl is enjoying her play mat...

it makes her smile - which makes her mommy smile!

this little girl is enjoying her 'coffee clutch' conversations with mommy this week - we talk a lot about the abc's and how special she is.

and when she's around her brother - she's crazy - one may say a bit naughty... we're working on this but she has a major obsession with anything that is Elaina's (note infant swing)

and this little boy is starting to develop a little imagination. This week he spent his mornings at 'tonka tyke's preschool' (high school family & consumer science students putting on a pre school environment for kids) They made astronaut helmets - reason for bucket on head.

and the kids have spent some quality pajama time together.  The Tetzlaff kids are battling some colds & ear infections - which in turn leaves mom battling some sleep deprivation & crabbiness.

It's Friday and... this little girl is more alert every day & I love her more every day

So I just caught the tail end of the smile this morning. But if you look in her eyes I think you will see it! Just a little teaser before the big smiles start coming.

Generations

This special man (great grandpa harvey) came to visit us a couple weekends ago. Curt and him can have some 'deep conversations'. This picture pretty much captures how much Curt adores his grandpa. He is an amazing man with beautiful stories to tell. 

Elaina was named after Harvey's wife Elaine & her middle name, Alice, is after Curt's Grandma Tetzlaff & my Grandma Wulfekuhle. This little girl has a lot of angels watching over her :)
