a little bit of this, a little bit of that

So everyone knows I couldn't be happier than when we get to spend time with our family. And we have gotten to do a lot of that the past couple of weeks! We got to spend a weekend in Wausau for an auction/ benefit that Great Grandpa Harvey donated his carvings to - this humble man is so talented & generous with his talents. We are now proud owners of a few pieces of his work!

Jack & Julia were reunited - after 9 long months apart (way too long)!

Last weekend my parents came up to help us out while I had my first show of the year!

Here they are reading 'National Hog Farmer' with Jack... he is very interested in where pigs live and what they eat. Today I was informed that, "pigs like soup and green beans" - weird but whatever. Uncle Brett was here too, but he was either sleeping or tearing up the town when I was home, so didn't get to see much of him :( so no pictures! sorry Uncle Brett. 

And this week we have had a couple of beautiful spring days... so we have played A LOT!

and we have done a lot of this - sitting on the front step - I'm not exactly sure why the kids love sitting here so much, but they do - so we sit and watch birds and people as they go by.... and yes poor maddie has to watch from inside (because she has been naughty, naughty, naughty the past 2 weeks)
