I'm One & Walking!

It has been a big couple of weeks for the Jackman. He turned one, can say 'mom' (usually only when whining....) and learned to walk!!!! Here is a link to some of his first steps.

and some pics from his 3 birthday celebrations! (he is not spoiled at all...)
This is from his actual birthday which he got to spend with the Schlemme's and Grandma and Grandpa Tetzlaff - he loves his new Tonka truck!
This is how his birthday ended - I'm not sure who had a bigger day Jack or dad?
This weekend he got to celebrate with the Wulfekuhle's at Grandma and Grandpa's new house - someone is having a good time.
Happy birthday big boy it's been a big week - we all love you!

Happy 4th of July!

It was a beautiful and relaxing weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Tetzlaff's in the northwoods. We were all spoiled with boating, great food and family!
Here we go on our first boat ride of the season.
Jack loved helping Uncle Brian drive the boat - he was obsessed with the throttle (he is too little to know about driving fast, isn't he?)
This little man was spoiled with his Great Aunts Chris and Rene around - here's the little man in his new 4th of July outfit from Aunt Chris!
I'm not sure who is having more fun at the parade Jack or Grandma? It was a perfect morning!
Jack got to celebrate his birthday a little early - he really was not that interested in his cupcake...
We ended a perfect weekend at grandma and grandpa's with a Sunday morning boat ride to the Sunset Grill for breakfast. Here is Jack with his Auntie Tami.

The Big Announcement!

And how could I forget to mention that Jack is going to be a big brother!! Not much else to say about that except January 21, 2010 seems like a LONG time from now :-) We couldn't be more excited & thankful that 'Baby T2' is on the way. Here is Jackson sporting his big brother tee courtesy of: www.zoeysattic.etsy.com

Blog Worthy!

I know my blogging hasn't been the best, but there are just some things that must be blogged about - this one is Reese Renae Wulfekuhle.
We were able to spend a beautiful weekend in Ames with Brian, Allie & Reese. Look at her she is beautiful and perfect in every way. She is so peaceful & a snuggler I did not want to leave her on Sunday... Allie & I played photographers and took lots of pics here is a link: http://gallery.me.com/allison.tetzlaff#gallery (they are under Reese Renae)
We spent Saturday playing at the park - Jack had a great time between swinging, eating and playing in water with his Aunt Allie - what more could a little boy ask for on a Saturday?
And one last pic of the cousins with Brian - what a great dad he is! Visit Allie's blog for the rest of the pictures of my naughty little Jackson and his cousin Reese! (this is the nice Jackson...) He will have all kinds of things to teach Reese very, very soon!

Jack's Week

It was a big week for Jack this week - 2 playdates! The first was breakfast with Grandma T and 'the ladies'. We prepped the cheeks all weekend with Vaseline for kissfest. Jack can't wait for Grandma and Grandpa T to come back this weekend!
On Wednesday Jack's big buddy Elijah got to come over - we love him! It is so much fun watching the boys. Jack's party side came out when it was time for him to go to bed - he totally got a second wind and did not want to miss out on Eli time. Elijah had to go to Jack's room and peek in his crib to make sure he was ok - too cute! I just love this picture of Elijah walking around with a bag of Cheerios. Maddie was in heaven Elijah kept sneaking them in her bowl...

The Kids

What more appropriate way to start out our family blog than with a picture of 'the kids'..... aren't they precious? We sure think so. Brian & Allie inspired me to start this so everyone can keep up with what is going on with 'The Tetzlaff's'. Plus I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if you could turn a blog into a book? Well, of course I was not the first to think of this great idea www.blurb.com - how cool!
